How Much Do Corian Worktops Cost? UK Prices & What Affects the Price
Corian worktops are made to measure and priced per project. Here is what affects the cost and how to plan your budget with confidence.
A dramatic vein only works if the fabricator books the pattern across the waterfall; otherwise the island looks like two products. Corian Worktops.com treats the worktop as architecture — long veins, waterfall returns and rooms photographed as a single plane of material.
Corian worktops do not have a standard price per length, because each one is templated, fabricated and fitted to suit a particular kitchen. Your Corian worktop cost is built up from the colour you choose, the size and shape of your layout, joints, sink and hob cut-outs, upstands and splashbacks, edge details and installation. We price every Corian project individually, so the most accurate answer comes from a quote based on your measurements.
In this guide we explain how Corian pricing works, where the money goes, and how to plan your budget with confidence.
How Corian worktop prices are worked out
Corian is a solid surface material made from acrylic resin and natural minerals. It is the same all the way through, which allows it to be cut, joined almost invisibly, shaped and polished. Those qualities are a big part of its appeal, but they also mean that much of the cost lies in the fabrication, not just the material.
Rather than quoting an average figure that may bear little relation to your kitchen, we look at your actual layout and price each element. That way you can see what you are paying for and where you have choices.
What affects the cost of Corian Corian work surfaces?
Here are the kitchen worktop ranges we currently supply:
Colour
Corian is available in a large range of colours, from plain whites and neutrals to speckled and veined designs. Colours are not all priced the same, so it is worth asking us to price your top two or three choices.
Kitchen size and shape
A single straight run uses less material and fewer joints than an L-shape, U-shape or a kitchen with an island and breakfast bar. Worktop depth matters too: deeper worktops and wide islands use more material.
Joints
Corian joints are bonded and finished so that they are very hard to see. That is one of the material’s key advantages, but each joint takes skilled time, so more joints mean more work.
Sinks, hobs and drainer grooves
Each sink and hob cut-out adds fabrication time. You can choose a Corian sink bonded seamlessly into the worktop, which costs more than a standard inset or undermounted sink but removes the rim where dirt collects. Drainer grooves routed into the worktop are another optional extra. Hob cut-outs need to follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance, which we build into our work.
Upstands and splashbacks
Corian upstands and splashbacks can be made to match your worktop, and coved upstands can give a continuous look from worktop to wall. These are additional pieces and are priced accordingly.
Edge profile and thickness
The visible thickness of the front edge and its profile affect both material and the time needed to shape and polish it. A simple square edge is usually the most economical.
Templating, delivery and installation
For a fitted job, we template your kitchen once the base units are fixed and level, fabricate the worktops, then deliver and install them. Access can affect the job: upper-floor flats, stairs, tight corners and parking restrictions all need planning. Removing old worktops and disconnecting and reconnecting the sink and taps can also be included.
Supply only or supply and fit?
We supply Corian and also template, fabricate and install it across the UK.
- Supply only is designed for trade customers and fabricators with the equipment and experience to work with solid surface.
- Supply and fit covers everything from measurement to the finished kitchen, with one team responsible throughout.
For homeowners, supply and fit is almost always the right choice. Joining and finishing Corian is specialist work, and a well-made joint is a big part of what you are paying for.
How to get the most from your Corian budget
- Prioritise where Corian matters most. If budget is tight, ask us to price options such as an integrated sink or full-height splashbacks separately so you can choose.
- Compare colours on one quote. This shows the difference clearly.
- Think about joint positions. A small change to the layout can sometimes reduce the number of joints.
- Get units ready before templating. Fitted, level units avoid repeat visits.
- Consider long-term value. Corian can usually be repaired and repolished rather than replaced. A standard solid surface repolish through our repair and repolish service is £350 + VAT.
Corian compared with quartz and granite
People often weigh Corian against quartz and granite. Like Corian, these are usually priced per project because they are cut to measure, so the fairest comparison is between quotes for the same layout. Beyond price, the main differences are practical: Corian offers near-invisible joints, integrated sinks and easy repairs, while stone surfaces are harder and more resistant to everyday scratches.

Corian worktop cost: frequently asked questions
Why don’t you list a Corian price per square metre?
Material is only one part of the cost. Fabrication, joints, cut-outs, edges and installation vary widely between kitchens, so a per-square-metre figure would be misleading. A quote based on your layout is much more reliable.
Is an integrated Corian sink much more expensive?
It does add to the cost compared with a standard sink. We can price both options so you can decide whether the seamless finish is worth it for you.
Can Corian worktops be repaired?
Yes, Corian can usually be repaired and repolished. A standard solid surface repolish is £350 + VAT; see our repair and repolish page.
